For Computer Science and Engineering course: Candidate should have passed with  minimum 55% of marks in B.E / B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering / Information Technology or M.C.A. 

For Electronics and Communication Engineering course: Candidate should have passed with minimum 55% of marks in B.E / B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering / Communication Engineering / Telecommunication Engineering / Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering through regular course of study from an AICTE approved institution or an examination of any university or authority accepted by Pondicherry University as equivalent thereto, with atleast 55% marks in the degree examination or equivalent CGPA.

For Wireless Communication course: Candidate should have passed with minimum 55% of marks In B.E / B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering.

For  Electrical Drives and Circuit course: Candidate should have passed with minimum 55% of marks in B.E / B.Tech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. 

Note:

1.Candidates belonging to SC/ST who have a mere pass in the qualifying examination are eligible for M.Tech program.

2.There is no age limit for M.Tech program.
