Eligibility and Selection Procedure for Post Basic (BSc Nursing) in Chettinad Academy of Research and Education Passed the Higher Secondary or Senior Secondary of Intermediate or 10+2 or an equivalent examination recognized by the university for this purpose. Those who have done 10+1 on or before 1986 will be eligible for admission. Must have obtained a certificate in General Nursing and Midwifery and registered as R.N.R.M with the State Nursing Registration Council. A male nurse, trained before the implementation of the new integrated course besides being registered as a nurse with State Nurses Registration Council, shall produce evidence of training approved by Indian Nursing Council for a similar duration in lieu of midwifery in any one of the following areas:

Application Procedure for Post Basic (BSc Nursing) in Chettinad Academy of Research and Education Application along with prospectus can be obtained on payment of Rs.100/- made through Demand Draft drawn in favor of “Chettinad Academy of Research and Education”, payable at Chennai. The form can be obtained in person/through post/may be downloaded from the University website. If the form is downloaded, the completed form must be accompanied by a D.D. as per the above instruction.
