|
Eligibility and Selection Procedure for PhD in ASBM University Candidate should hold a Master's Degree from recognised university/ institute. Minimum marks shall be obtained 55%. A relaxation of 5% of marks, from 55% to 50%, or an equivalent relaxation of grade, may be allowed for those belonging to SC/ ST/ OBC (non-creamy layer)/ differently-abled and other reserved categories of candidates as per the decision of the University Grants Commission (UGC) from time to time, or for those who had obtained their Master’s degree prior to 19th September, 1991. The eligibility marks of 55% (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) and the relaxation of 5% to the categories mentioned above are permissible based only on the qualifying marks without including the grace mark procedures. Candidates holding Degree considered equivalent to M.Phil. Degree of an Indian institution or from a foreign educational institution accredited by an assessment and accreditation agency which is approved, recognised or authorised by an authority, established or incorporated under a law in its home country or any other statutory authority in that country for the purpose of assessing, accrediting or assuring quality and standards of educational institutions, shall be eligible for admission to Ph.D program. Selection Process: Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of a selection test,called ASBM-RAT and aViva-Voce Examination. UGC-NET(including JRF) / UGC-CSIR NET (including JRF) / SET / SLET/ GATE/Teacher-fellowship holder may be granted exemptionfrom ASBM-RAT. |

Selection Process
Admission to the MBA program is based on marks obtained in CAT/MAT/XAT exam.
For Ph.D course, Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of a selection test,called ASBM-RAT and aViva-Voce Examination. UGC-NET(including JRF) / UGC-CSIR NET (including JRF) / SET / SLET/ GATE/Teacher-fellowship holder may be granted exemption from ASBM-RAT.
Rest of all courses admissions will be on the merit basis.

Interested candidates may obtain the application form along with the information bulletin on payment of Rs. 1,000/-(Rupees One Thousand only) for Doctoral, and MBA Programs and
Rs. 400/- (Rupees Four Hundred only) for all other prorgams.
