Delhi Institute of Tool Engineering (DTE) Tool Room & Training Centre (TRTC) at Wazirpur Industrial Area, Delhi and Hi-Tech Vocational Training Centre (HTVTC) at Okhla Industrial Area New Delhi were established, with technical and financial assistance of Government of Denmark and Government of Italy respectively, with the objective of contributing towards the development of industries in and around Delhi through supply of trained manpower, undertaking jobwork of machining and manufacturing of sophisticated tools. These centres were functioning as independent societies, registered under the societies registration act, 1860 each having separate Governing council and General body of the society.
