Air Force Vocational College (AFCV) was established by Air Force Wives Welfare Association (AFWWA) (Central) in 1984. It was led with a mission to promote intellectual and financial emancipation amongst women. Since then, this institute has grown in stature from year to year. The college is located in the plush green heritage zone of central Delhi also known as the lutyen’s zone. Nested inside the secured surroundings of the old willingdon camp, AFVC is a distinctive example of timeless heritage and modernity. The serenity of the place serves as a stimulant for the students to grow and acquire knowledge to empower themselves for a bright future.

Management Committee

The college offers various Diploma Courses. It lays stress on training along with overall development of personality. Lots of Co-curricular activities are conducted throughout the year to give exposure to the students. Counselling is provided to the candidates for selecting right courses. 

In addition, various certificate courses are also available. Summer Vacation courses are held for boys and girls during summer vacations.Age is no bar for learning. This welfare institute has kept its charges very nominal. The College offers full fee concession to widows and dependants of deceased Air Force Personnel and concession in fee is also given to other deserving candidates. Rajya Sainik Board reimburses 25% of the course fee to the ex-servicemen, widows and their wards who successfully undergo the course from this college (Terms & Conditions apply).

Full accreditation for '0' Level computer course(ACC. No. O-0496) and ‘A’ level computer course(ACC. No. A-0643) has been granted by Department of Electronics, Govt. of India, New Delhi,Early Childhood & Education by SCERT,New Delihl and Certificate Courses Like Early Childhood Care & Education,Secretarial Practice (PA/PS),Beauty Culture andTailoring & Dress Making are recognized by National Institute of open schooling, Govt. of India.
