The online submission of Uttar Pradesh common admission test dental bachelor dental surgery (UPCAT Dental BDS) Application form will start on 5th May 2016 (expected). UPCAT BDS is conducted by Association of Private Medical dental colleges of Uttar Pradesh for offer admission in Bachelor of dental surgery (BDS) Program in various dental colleges of Uttar Pradesh. It is one of the most popular and national level exam. There are many candidates who want to make their career in medical field that’s why every year a huge number of candidates are appear in this exam and try to do qualify exam. It is expecting that this year also more than thousands of candidates will be appeared in this exam. Interested candidates must fill the UPCAT BDS application form before last date.

Exam pattern of UPCAT BDS 2016There will be 200 marks in exam.
The paper will be contained in 3 parts (physics, chemistry, biology)
Time duration: 180 minutes
For each correct answer 1 mark will be given

• Physics 50
• Chemistry 50     
• Biology – zoology 50
• Biology – botany 50
• Total      200

Candidates age must be 17 years on before 31st December

Qualification for UPCAT Dental BDS 2016

The candidate must have passed the 10+2 examination or I.C.S.E /Intermediate examination or its equivalent from a recognized board /university.

 Candidates must have passed with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English from the recognized Board or University.

The candidate must have passed with obtained a minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English taken together in the qualifying examination.

 Candidates belonging to reserved category (SC / ST / OBC category) would require in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology and English minimum 40% marks in aggregate.

 Candidates belonging to General category candidates would require in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology and English minimum 50% marks.

 Applicants who are appearing for the qualifying examination of 12th class and result is not yet available are also eligible to appear in this Test.

You must qualify 12th class exam before taking the admission in BDS course.

Applicants who are seeking registration to the Uttar Pradesh Common Admission Test – Dental (UPCAT 2016 Dental) is required to send his /her application on the given application form only.

Applicants must note that they are not allowed to fill more than one examination form.

The application form or examination fee for entrance examination and admission in B.D.S. Course for the Academic Year 2016-17 will be made available from member colleges of UPCAT.

The application form can be obtained either in person by paying cash of Rs. 1500 or by post by sending a crossed bank draft of Rs. 1600/-

Applicants should also know that requisition for the required application shall be addressed to the Co-ordinator UPCAT Dental 2016, Keshlata Hospital, Delapeer, Bareilly (U.P.) Pin 243 122.

You must know that Application form will be filled in English only.

You are advised to read all the instructions carefully before filling the application form.

Applicants shall fill the OMR application form of UPCAT Dental BDS 2016  in his / her own handwriting in block letters written neatly and legibly with ball pen within the prescribe boxes only and darken the corresponding oval.

Overwriting, cuttings, erasing are not allowed in the application form. If you do so your form will be rejected.

Applicants are advisable to first fill in a photocopy of the form and then fill in the main application form to avoid errors.

You should write your complete address in the application form for further correspondence. Pin code should be given in the space provided for pin code.

Applicants will have to send application form to P.O. Box No. 11, Izzat Nagar Post Office, Bareilly-243122 in the printed envelope before last date.

Note: Please note that application form must be sent by ordinary post only before last date.

You should write your name in Capital letters as given in High school certificate of Board /University.

You should also note that aach letter should be filled in one box. One box should be left blank between each part of the name.

Applicants request for change in any particulars in the application form shall not be entertained under any circumstance.
