DNB-PDCET is ranking examination for entry to various post diploma DNB Courses

NBE shall be conding DNB-PDCET as Computer Based Test (CBT) on 14 Dec 2018 at various test centers across the country

Candidates MUST bring to the test centre the following documents:

Printed copy of Admit Card with photo pasted on it; and Any one of the authorized photo IDs** (must be original, valid and non-expired) – PAN Card/Voter ID/Driving License/Passport/Aadhaar Card (original with photograph) 

Post Diploma DNB courses are offered in the following specialities: Anaesthesiology, Dermatology Venereology and Leprosy, Nuclear Medicine, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Ophthalmology, Orthopaedics, Oto-rhino-Laryngology, Paediatrics, Psychiatry, Radio-Diagnosis, Radiotherapy, Tuberculosis& Respiratory Diseases/ Pulmonary Medicine, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitaion and Pathology.

The exam comprises 250 multiple choice, single correct response questions of 4 mark each in English language only as per the following indicative scheme:

Anatomy, Physiology and Biochemistry) - 30 No. of questions;

Pathology, Microbiology and Pharmacology - 30 No. of questions;

General Medicine  Dermatology, Psychiatry Radiotherapy - 45 No. of questions;

General Surgery, Anesthesia, Orthopaedics and Radiodiagnosis - 45 No. of questions;

Paediatrics -20 No. of questions;

ENT & Opththalmology - 30 No. of questions;

Obstetrics & Gynaecology - 30 No. of questions;

Community Medicine - 20 No. of questions;

Overview of DNB-PDCET 2019

Purpose of Exam: Ranking exam for admission to DNB (post Diploma) Courses

Periodicity: Twice a year

:Pattern of Exam: MCQ based with single correct  response

No of Questions: 250

Time Allocated: 21/2 hours

Negative Marking: Yes (1 Mark will be deducted for incorrect respose 4 marks will be awarded for correct respose)

Syllabus: MBBS Exit Level

Mode of Conduct: Computer based

Seat Allotment: Specialty Specific Merit Based Counseling conducgted by NBE

Resrvation of Seats: For SC/ST.OBC/ PWD.

Eligibility

Candidate who have passed final exam leading tothe award of PGD from Indian Universities which are duly recognised as per Indian Medical Council Act-1956, Govt of India.

Candidate already pusuing a MD/MS/DNB course are not eligibile to appear for DNB-PDCET.

Registration with MCI/ State Medical Council os necessary and its documentary proof should be furnished at the time of counseling.

Admission process

Examination fee:

DNB-PDCET: Rs. 4500/-

The prescribed registration fee should be remitted trough payment gateway provided using Credit Card or Debit Card or Net banking.

Steps in Online submission of application form:

1. Fill the registration form for obtaining User ID and Password.

2. User ID and Password will be sent through SMS and Dmail ID

3. Fill the application form and Upload your Photograph and signature

4. Choose your Test City

5. Submission of fees

6.Take Print out of the filled Application form with Transation ID printed on it.
