Applications for Tamil Nadu Aptitude Test in Architecture (TANATA) 2018 conducted byAnna University, Chennai on behalf of the Government of Tamil Nadu are invited fromthe candidates who seek admission to B. Arch. Degree Programme under ManagementQuota and Government Quota lapsed seats for the year 2018 – 2019.

Examination Centre:  ANATA 2018 will be conducted on August 11th, 2018 at College of Engineering, Guindy,Anna University, Chennai - 600 025.

Mode of Examination:  There will be two parts in the examination, Part A and Part B. A folder containing booklets for both will be given at the beginning of the examination. Part A will have Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) to be answered in OMR answer sheet. MCQ answer sheet (OMR) for Part-A will be taken back after 90 minutes. Part B will have drawing questions to be answered in drawing sheets. Candidates must follow the instructions given in the Question booklet for filling the details and answering mode.

Questions and all instructions will be available only in English medium.

Declaration of Result and Downloading of Mark sheet:

Results will be available in the website www.annauniv.edu

Qualifying marks for TANATA 2018 would be based on the following rules:

1. At least 25% must be secured in MCQ portion (30 out of 120)
2. At least 25% must be secured in Drawing portion (20 out of 80)
3. Overall qualifying marks (70 out of 200)

The eligibility requirements for the candidates appearing for the TANATA 2018 are as follows:

1. Secured 50% marks in 10+2 or equivalent examination with Mathematics as one of the subjects; OR
2. 10+3 Diploma (any stream) recognized by Central/State Government with 50% aggregate marks with Mathematics; OR
3. International Baccalaureate Diploma, after 10 years of Schooling with 50% marks in aggregate and with Mathematics.

Qualifying in TANATA 2018 does not constitute a right/guarantee for the candidate’s admission to any architecture course unless he/she has fulfilled all the prescribed requirements as specified by respective counselling and admission authorities.

Candidates can register only through online by logging on towww.annauniv.edu/tanata2018. The procedure for registration is available inAnna University web portal.

The hall tickets and mark sheets shall be downloaded fromthe above web portal.

Candidates have to pay 2000/- ( 1000/- for SC/SCA/ST candidates belonging toTamil Nadu) as registration fee.
