KEAM 2020 is conducted by the Commissioner of Entrance Examination (CEE), Kerala. It is a state level exam. Interested candidate may get admission in Degree Courses in various Professional Colleges within the State of Kerala for the year 2020-21

Publication of the Results

The rank lists for Engineering, Architecture, B.Pharm,MBBS/BDS/BHMS/BSMS/BUMS, Agriculture/Veterinary/Forestry/Fisheries and BAMS will be published separately. The results will be available on the official website (www.cee.kerala.gov.in) of the CEE and on other websites to be notified by the CEE.

Validity of the rank lists published by the CEE:

(i) Engineering Rank list will be valid till 15.08.2020 as per the orders of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India dated 13.12.2012 in CA No.9047 & 9048 of 2012.

(ii) Architecture Rank list will be valid till 15.08.2020

(iii) Rank list of MBBS/BDS courses will be valid till 31.08.2020

(iv) Rank lists for BHMS/BSMS/BUMS/Agriculture/Veterinary/Forestry/Fisheries will be valid till 31.10.2020

(v) Ayurveda Rank list will be valid till 31.10.2020

(vi) Rank list for B.Pharm courses will be valid till 15.08.2020.

Weeding out Rule: The records of KEAM 2020 will be preserved only till 31st October 2020.

Medical & Allied Courses

(a) For MBBS, BDS, BSMS: Candidates who have passed Higher Secondary examination of the Board of Higher Secondary Education, Kerala, or examinations recognised equivalent thereto, with minimum 50% marks in Biology/Biotechnology separately, and minimum 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology put together, are eligible.

In the absence of Biology, Biotechnology will be considered as a subject for academic eligibility.

(b) For BAMS/ BHMS courses: Candidates who have passed Higher Secondary examination of the Board of Higher Secondary Education, Kerala, or examinations recognised equivalent thereto, with minimum 50% marks in Biology separately, and 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology put together, are eligible. Biotechnology will not be considered as a subject for academic eligibility.

(c) For BUMS course: Candidates must have passed Intermediate (10+2) or its equivalent examination with 50% aggregate marks in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Biology and 50% marks in Biology separately and the candidate should have passed

• (a) 10th standard with Urdu or Arabic or Persian language as a subject or clear the test of Urdu in the Entrance Examination conducted by the University or Board or Registered Society authorized by the Government to conduct such examination;

or

• (b) pre-Tib examination of one year duration.

(d) For B.Sc.(Hons.)Agri., B.Sc.(Hons) Forestry, BFSc courses: Candidates who have passed Higher Secondary examination of the Board of Higher Secondary Education, Kerala, or examinations recognised equivalent thereto, with 50% marks in Biology KEAM-2019, separately, and 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology put together, are eligible. Biotechnology will not be considered as a subject for academic eligibility.

(e) For BVSc. & AH Course: Candidates should have secured not less than 50% aggregate marks in English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology for the qualifying examination.

Candidates who have passed the BSc Degree (Three year course) examination with Physics, Chemistry, Zoology, Botany or Biotechnology as Main, and any one or two of the above subjects as Subsidiaries, with 50% marks for Main & Subsidiaries taken together, subject to the condition that they have passed Higher Secondary Examination, Kerala or examinations recognised as equivalent thereto with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as optional subjects are eligible for admission to MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS and BSMS courses.

Engineering courses

[Including B.Tech (Agri. Engg.) and B.Tech (Food Engg. & Tech) courses under the Kerala Agricultural University, B.Tech (Dairy Technology) and B.Tech (Food Technology) courses under Kerala Veterinary & Animal Sciences University and B.Tech (Food Science & Technology) course under Kerala University of Fisheries and Ocean Studies].

Candidates who have passed Higher Secondary Examination, Kerala, or Examinations recognized as equivalent thereto, with at least 50% marks in Mathematics separately, and 50 % marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry put together are eligible for admission. 

Architecture Course

 Candidate should pass  10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognised Board with Mathematics as a subject of study by securing 50% marks in aggregate

OR

10+3 Diploma (any stream) recognised by Central/State Governments with 50% aggregate marks with Mathematics as one of the subject of examination

OR

International Baccalaureate Diploma, after 10 years of schooling, with not less than 50% marks in aggregate and with Mathematics as compulsory subject of examination.

Candidate who have qualify National Aptitude Test in  Architecture (NATA) 2020 will be considered for admission to B. Arch. course. 

B.Pharm. Course

 Candidates passed Higher Secondary Examination, Kerala or Examinations recognized as equivalent thereto, with minimum 50% marks in Biology/Mathematics separately and 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/ Mathematics put together are eligible. 

Relaxation in marks

Age: Applicants should have completed 17 years of age as on the 31st December 2020.

No relaxation in the minimum age will be allowed.

Candidate should apply online.

Fill online application form and pay application form online or by way of e-chalan.

Upload required docuements as  per instruction given in the website.

The photograph and Signature image to be uploaded must be clear and conforming to the prescribed specifications.

The applicant should select the course/courses which he/she desires to study while applying online.

Candidates except SC/ST/OEC category should upload income certificate also while applying online for availing income based fee concession/ scholarship.

After completing steps four, Candidate should take a printout of the confirmation page from the online application for future references

Don't send the printout of the confirmation page or other documents to the office of the CEE.

Fees

The candidates can pay application fee through credit card/debit card/Internet Banking.

In case of payment through e-challan, the payment can be made in all Head/Sub Post Offices in Kerala, in cash.

Candidates those will choose the ‘Dubai’ as Examination Centre have to remit an additional fee of Rs.12,000/– through online payment.

Fee for the course Engineering, B.Pharm: General: Rs. 700/-, Sc: Rs. 300/-

Fee for the course Architecture, Medical & Allied only/both: General: Rs. 500/-, Sc: Rs. 200/-

Both (a) & (b): General: Rs. 900/-, Sc: Rs. 400/-

Note: Candidate  belonging to ST category are exempted from payment of application fee.
