NEW DELHI: Corporate Affairs Ministry today said it will set up a centre of excellence and ethics in Ajmer Rajasthan in a move to create knowledge hub in the state.
An Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was singed today between Corporate Affairs Ministry and three professional institutes --Institute of Company Secretaries of India, Institute of Cost Accountants of India and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, said an official statement.
As per the MoU, it would set-up a centre of excellence and ethics at Ajmer, which is also a constituency of Corporate Affairs Minister Sachin Pilot.
The main objective of the MoU is to create a knowledge hub in Ajmer and conduct research and outreach programmes on investors education and protection and corporate governance among others.
Pilot and Corporate Affairs Secretary Naved Masood were present on the occasion.
