XLRI - Xavier School of Management (XLRI-XSM): Admissions 2023

XLRI - Xavier School of Management (XLRI-XSM) school offers following programs for the academic year 2023-2024

PGDM (Business Management) (2 year)

Eligibility: Candidate should hold a Bachelor's Degree of minimum three years duration or equivalent in any discipline from a recognized university.

Those completing their final examination by June of academic year may also apply.

Selection Process: All Indian candidates must appear for XAT. However, NRI and foreign candidates may apply through GMAT score (except Dubai and Kathmandu where in candidates have option of appearing for XAT).

Fees: Rs. 18,50,000/-  Total

Executive - PGDM (16 Months)

Eligibility: Candidate must hold a Bachelor's Degree (minimum of three years full time study) from a recognized university in any discipline.
A minimum of 5 years of Post-Degree full time work experience in managerial positions.
Eligible candidate registered for the program will be shortlisted and called for Interview (Personal/ Skype).

There is no upper age limit for the course.

Selection Process: Valid Score in XAT, GMAT or GRE score.

Final selection will be based on the performance of interview.

Fees: Rs. 4,00,000/- Total

Fellow Program in Management (FPM)

Option – 1 (XAT): 

Candidates with Post Graduation from Universities (MBA/ Master's Degree in any discipline India/ Abroad) and Centres of Higher Learning with at least 55% marks (50% for SC/ ST candidates) with the Bachelors degree/ equivalent qualification with at least 60% marks (55% for SC/ ST candidates) obtained after a minimum of three years of education after completing higher secondary education (10+2) or equivalent. 

or 

Five years/ four years Integrated Master's Degree programme in any discipline, with at least 55% marks (50% for SC/ ST candidates), obtained after completing higher secondary education (10+2) or equivalent. 

or 

BE/ B.Tech Degree or its equivalent with at least 60% marks (50% for SC/ ST candidates) with 2 years of relevant work experience. 

or 

A professional qualification like CA, ICWA or CS with at least 55% marks (50% for SC/ST candidates)  may choose to appear in the Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) to be conducted all over India.

Option - 2  (UGCJRF/ NET; GMAT/ GRE/ GATE):  

Candidates with any of the above qualification (as stated in Option-1) may submit UGC JRF/ NET; GMAT/ GRE/ GATE scores for admission to FPM. Such candidates will be exempted from appearing in XAT. 

Option - 3 (MBA/ PGDM candidates):  

Candidates who have done their PGP from XLRI, any IIMs, FMS Delhi, MDI Gurgaon, XIM Bhubaneswar, IRMA, SP Jain, School of Management of IITs & NITs, TIFR, TISS, ISI and other comparable Institutes with a CQPI of at least 6.00/ 8.00 or equivalent will be exempted from appearing in the XAT. 

Shortlisted candidates will be required to appear for personal interview at XLRI, Jamshedpur for final selection.

Executive Fellow Program in Management (EFPM)

Eligibility: Candidate must hold Degree of MBA/ Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) or equivalent or GMP/ PGPX or One Year full-time residential programme in Management (with 60% marks). Candidates from Premier B-Schools will be given preference.

Aspirant must be currently employed in a full-time job.

Aspirant must have at least 5 years of full-time executive/ managerial/ teaching/ research experience as on March of academic year.

Aspirant less than 50 years of age shall get preference.

Selection Process: Shortlisted candidates will be required to appear for a personal interview at XLRI, Jamshedpur for final selection.

Fees: Rs. 8,50,000/- Total

PG Certificate in Business Management (PGPBM) (1 year)

Eligibility:  Candidate should be a Graduate from a recognized university.

• Minimum of 1 years of work experience after completing graduation.

PG Certificate in Human Resource Management (PGCHRM) (1 year)

Eligibility:  Candidate should be a Graduatie from a recognized university.

• Minimum of 1 years of work experience after completing graduation.

PG Certificate in Senior Leadership Program (PGCSLP) (1 year)

Eligibility: Candidate should be a 

• Graduate from a recognized university.
• Minimum of 10 years of work experience after completing graduation.
• Performance in personal interviews.
• Basic knowledge of computer.
• The programme is targeted for the elite group of senior managers- proven- business leaders with zeal to accelerate both Organizational and personal growth.

Fees: 

PGPBM: Rs. 2,90,000/- Total

PGCHRM: Rs. 3,00,000/- Total

PGCSLP: Rs. 3,60,000/- Total

XLRI-XSM: Admission Process 2023

Stage 1- Registration fee for XAT through XAT/ GMAT:

XAT Registration Fee (without late fee) – Rs. 1,700/-  

Candidates interested in XLRI programs needs to pay an additional fee of Rs. 300/- each. 

XAT Registration Fee (with late fee) – Rs. 2,000/-  

Candidates interested in XLRI programs needs to pay an additional fee of Rs. 500/- each.  

Indian Candidates applying for GMP through GMAT – Rs. 2,500/-  

NRI/Foreign Candidates applying for one or more programmes through GMAT – Rs. 5,000/-

The payment can be made by using Debit Cards (RuPay / Visa / Master Card / Maestro), Credit Cards and Internet Banking.

Stage 2- Shortlist of Candidates:

The names of the XAT and GMAT candidates will be shortlisted by January of academic year (tentative). 

Stage 3- Interview Process:

The interviews for GMP candidates through XAT and GMAT will be conducted between mid- February and March 2019 in Bangalore, Delhi, Mumbai and Jamshedpur only.

GMP Interviews can be conducted over G-talk / Skype for overseas candidates. Candidate needs to get in touch with the admissions office for scheduling the interview online after result.
