Birla Institute of Management Technology (BIMTECH) offers following programs for the academic year 2023-2024

PGDM (2 year)

Specialization:

• PGDM General
• PGDM International Business
•  PGDM Insurance Business Management
• PGDM Retail Management

Eligibility: Candidate should hold Bachelor's Degree from recognised university/ institute.

Minimum 50 % marks should be secured.

Candidates appearing in final year Graduation examination (1st attempt) in Summer 2021 can also apply.

Such candidates will have to produce final year result of Graduation.

Selection Process: Valid score in CAT / GMAT/ XAT .

Personal Interview: 25%

Writing Ability Test (WAT): 10%

CAT/ XAT/ MAT/ CMAT/ GMAT percentile:  35%

Past Academic Performance(10th, 12th, Graduation): 10%

Additional weightage for candidates with Engineering background: 2%

Work experience: 10%

Regional-Eastern States (seven sisters), Southern States (Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Puducherry) and  Jammu & Kashmir: 3%

(ESCS Category)- Minority Class/ SC/ ST/ OBC/ EWS: 2%

Gender (Female Candidates Only): 3%

Executive - PGDM (1.5 year)

Eligibility: Candidate should hold Bachelor's Degree from recognised university/ institute.

Minimum 50 % marks should be secured.

Such candidates will have to produce final year result of Graduation.

Eligibility: Candidate should hold a Master’s Degree or equivalent in any discipline with at least 60% marks or equivalent grade point average recognized by AICTE /AIU with a Bachelor’s degree /equivalent qualification after completing higher secondary school (10+2)

Or

Five year integrated Masters Degree Program in any discipline with at least 60% marks, obtained after completing higher secondary school (10+2) or equivalent.

In addition to the academic qualification, candidates applying for EFPM need to have a minimum of 5 years of managerial/executive/teaching experience.

Minimum age limit for EFPM Program is 28 years.

Selection Process: Valid Score in CAT/ GMAT/ GRE/ GATE/ UGC-JRF score/ BIMTECH Entrance Exam.

EFPM (5 year)

Eligibility: Candidate should hold a Master’s Degree or equivalent in any discipline with at least 60% marks or equivalent grade point average recognized by AICTE /AIU with a Bachelor’s Degree /equivalent qualification after completing higher secondary school (10+2) or

Five year integrated Masters Degree Program in any discipline with at least 60% marks, obtained after completing higher secondary school (10+2) or equivalent.

Application form can be filled online followed by paying Rs. 2,000/- through Credit/ Debit Card.

Every applicant should submit a self attested photocopy of each of the following documents at the time of the GD & PI.
(1) Mark List of Class 10th
(2) Mark List of Class 10+2
(3) Mark List of Graduation (all years/ semesters)
(4) Score card of CAT/GMAT/XAT/CMAT /MAT whichever applicable
(5) Work Experience certificate (if applicable) from a registered company
(6) Documents prescribed for applicants under DA Category (if applicable)
(7) Documents prescribed for applicants under EWS Category (if applicable)
(8) Corporate sponsorship certificate (if applicable)
(9) NRI/NRI sponsorship documents (if applicable) as prescribed
(10) Domicile Certificate from Competent Authority (if applicable)
(11) Proof of Nationality for International student

Declaration of Final Selection List:
Final selection list is prepared taking into account the candiate’s
1) Profile based score
2) Entrance test scores (CAT/ XAT/ GMAT/ CMAT/ MAT)
3) Performance in Group Discussion, Personal Interview and Write-up based on their respective weightages
Final Selection List would be declared by 2nd week of March  (tentative)
