Admission Process
Admission to the various programs offered by the the University are made based on the qualifying examination expect Medical, Dental, Homoeopathy and Architecture.
An Entrance Test shall be with qualifying marks as 50%. A relaxation of 5% of marks (from 50% to 45%) shall be allowed for the candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC (Non-creamy)/Differently – abled candidates.
Admission to B.Arch course: Interested candidate has to secure valid score in NATA to get admission in B.Arch. course.
Admission to other UG Degree Course (Such as Nursing, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, Engineering, Arts & Science and Allied Health Sciences): Admission to the above UG Programs are made based on the marks obtained in the qualifying Examination (H.Sc., or its equivalent) as per the Apex Council Norms and the merit based counseling conducted by the Admission Monitoring Committee (AMC) of VMRF (DU), Salem.
Admission to B.Ed. Course: Admission to B.Ed Degree Course is made based on the marks obtained in the qualifying Examination (Relevant Degree or its equivalent) as per the NCTE norms and the merit based counseling conducted by the Admission Monitoring Committee (AMC) of VMRF (DU), Salem.
Admission to B.P.Ed / BPES Course, B.P.Ed. (Bachelor of Physical Education) Course: Admission to B.P.Ed. Degree Course is made based on the marks obtained in the qualifying Examinations (Any Degree or its equivalent) and marks secured in the Selection trail & personal interview as per the NCTE / State Govt. / University Norms and the merit based counseling conducted by the Admission Monitoring Committee (AMC) of VMRF (DU), Salem.
BPES (Bachelor of Physical Education & Sports) Course: Admission to BPES Degree Course is made based on the marks obtained in the qualifying Examinations (H.Sc. or its equivalent) and marks secured in the Selection trail & personal interview as per the NCTE / State Govt. / University Norms and the merit based counseling conducted by the Admission Monitoring Committee (AMC) of VMRF (DU), Salem.
Admission to Diploma Course in Pharmacy and Allied Health Sciences (D.Pharm Course) : Admission to the Diploma in Pharmacy Programe is made based on the marks secured in the qualifying Examinations (H.Sc., or its equivalent) as per the Pharmacy Council of India Norms and the merit based counseling conducted by the Admission Monitoring Committee (AMC) of VMRF (DU), Salem.
