Selection Process

For UG  and PG programs: Admission will be based on Merit  (percentage secured in last qualifying examination) and Personal Interview.

For MBA  Program:  Admission  will be based on  written test (USTM-CAT) followed by personal interview (PI) and Group discussion (GD). Candidates having valid score  card of  CAT/MAT/XMAT etc  will be exempted from USTM-CAT and such  candidate may directly  appear for  PI and GD. The final merit list for admission in MBA will be prepared considering percentage of marks  in the qualifying examination, score of  USTM-CAT/MAT/CAT/XMAT and marks obtain in  PI and GD. 

For B.Ed, B.Pharm,  BA LLB  Program:  Admission will be  based on    written test (USTM-CAT) followed by personal interview (PI). 

For Ph.D Program:  Admission will be based on Written Test followed by Personal Interview/ Presentation.

Fill application form properly and submit application form fee

Application fee is Rs. 700/-  (Rs. 1000/- for MBA and Rs. 2000/- for PhD program)

Payment can be done Only through Net banking/Debit Card/Credit card

After submission of online form, applicant will receive a copy of the acknowledgment to their registered E-mail and they may keep a hard copy of the acknowledgment for future reference. Hard copy of the acknowledgment need not required to send /submit to the university.

Candidate may visit administrative office of the university campus and obtain application form and prospectus at

Candidate may download application form from the college website and submit Demand Draft  of any nationalized bank drawn in favour of “ University of Science and Technology, Meghalaya” payable at Guwahati.

By Post

 The Application form & Prospectus may also be obtained by sending a crossed Demand Draft(DD) of any nationalized bank with amount of Rs 775/ ( for MBA Rs.1075/) drawn in favaour of “ University of Science & Technology, Meghalaya” payable at Guwahati along with a self addressed envelope of 30 X 25 cm size. IPO/ Cheque/MO will not be accepted.

Submission

The Filled application form along with self attested photocopy of all academic documents can be submitted to the administrative office of the college.

Three recent passport coloured photographs duly self-attested should be affixed on the application form. . These photographs are to be pasted with gum and should not be stapled or pinned. Photocopies of photographs are not acceptable.

Application form should be signed  by the applicant/parent/guardian.

Candidates whose results have not been declared, may also apply for admission, provided they are able to submit the result/ certificate of the qualifying examination before the last date of admission for respective programs
