Eligibility and Selection Procedure for MD in The Tamil Nadu Dr MGR Medical University M.D (Siddha): a. Candidate for admission to the first year of M.D.(Siddha) Course should have passed degree of B.S.M.S. or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Council of Indian Medicine. b. The Candidate should be a registered medical practitioner of the State Tamil Nadu Board of Indian Medicine. c. The Candidate should have passed the B.S.M.S. Degree Examination and should have also completed one year of Internship. M.D ( Homoeopathy): A Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery or an equivalent qualification in Homoeopathy included in the Second Schedule to the Act, after undergoing a course of study of not less than five years and six months’ duration including one year compulsory internship. ii) A Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery (Graded Degree) or an equivalent qualification in Homoeopathy included in the Second Schedule to the Act after undergoing a course of study of not less than two years’ duration. M.D (Naturopathy & Yoga): Candidates who have passed BNYS degree course from other than the Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medical University, i) N.D-Diploma in Naturopathy of Osmania University, Hyderabad(Andhra Pradesh State) 4 ½ years course (4 years + 6 months internship), ii) B.N.Y.S.- a) Bachelor of Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences - 5 ½ Years course (4 ½ Year + 1 year Internship) - Awarded by NTRUHS (Andhra Pradsh), RGUHS (Karnataka) and other recognized universities. b) BNYS - 5 Years course (4 Years + 1 Year Internship) Awarded by RGUHS (Karnataka).

Admission Process |
Application Procedure for MD in The Tamil Nadu Dr MGR Medical University Candidate has to remit a sum of Rs.1,400/- towards the cost of application and Eligibility Fee. The amount should be paid through onlineRTGS or the IOB Challan to be paid at the Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. MedicalUniversity premises. The date of payment should not be earlier than onemonth from the date of application. The amount once remitted by the candidate to the University will not berefunded at any cost. Candidate has to furnish the following documents in original and one setof Xerox copies: a) Qualifying Examination Degree / Provisional Certificate. b) Tamil Nadu Nurses and Midwives Council Registration Certificate c) Migration Certificate (Candidates who have passed the qualifying examination other than The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, University of Madras, Bharathiar University, Bharathidasan University and Madurai Kamaraj University.) d) One year experience certificate after Basic B.Sc.(N) from the date of registration of State Nursing Council. e) One year experience certificate prior or after Post Basic B.Sc.(N) from the date of registration of State Nursing Council. f) Statement of marks of B.Sc.(N) & Post Basic B.Sc.(N) g) Transfer Certificate. h) Post Basic B.Sc. (Nursing) Additional Qualification Registration Certificate. |
