Selection Process

Admission to PG program is based on score obtained in TISSNET/GD, Personal Interview.

Candidates applying for MA (HRM&LR) and / or MA (ODCL) programmes, are required to appearfor the TISS Management Aptitude Test (TISS-MAT).The TISS-MAT will be conducted only for those candidates who are short-listed for stage 2 on the basis of TISS-NET results.

Admission in Ph.D program, candidate should pass Research Aptitude Test.

Master Degree Admission Process

Candidates shortlisted for personal interview are required to produce original certificate and mark sheet on the date of personal interview, for verifying.

Those who are in the final year but are eligible to apply are required to produce the mark sheets of all previous semesters on the date of personal interview.

Those candidates who are eligible to apply, but cannot submit the Degree certificate and grade/ mark sheet at the time of admission are required to submit  before last date.

The application fees is Rs. 1000/-  + bank charges.

Rs. 250/-  + bank charges  for ST/SC/OBC .

For SC/ST candidates, the application fee is Rs. 500/- per program + bank charges.

Candidate cand pay application fee by Credit card/ Debit card/ Net Banking.

Note: Candidates can apply for a maximum of three programmes across any two of the TISS Campuses.

If a candidate is found to have filled more than one online form, all his applications will be cancelled.

Certificates/Documents to be uploaded or submitted with the filled up form

1. Photograph, Signature, TISS copy of challan (if paid by cash) for General category.

2. Photograph, Signature, Caste / Tribe Certificate, Income Certificate for the current financial year, TISS copy of challan (if paid by cash) for SC/ST (Annual income less than Rs.2.5 lakhs)

3. Photograph, Signature, TISS copy of challan (if paid by cash),  Caste / Tribe Certificate for SC / ST (Annual income more than Rs.2.5 lakhs).

4. Photograph, Signature, Income Certificate, Other Backward Class (Non-Creamy Layer) certificate issued by the District Magistrate / Deputy Commissioner / Tahsildar, TISS copy of challan (if paid by cash) for OBC (NC) (Annual income less than Rs.1 lakh).

6. Other Backward Class (Non-Creamy Layer) certificate issued by the District Magistrate / Deputy Commissioner / Tahsildar if Annual income more than Rs.1 lakh but less than Rs. 8 lakhs.

7. Photograph, Signature, TISS copy of challan (if paid by cash) and PWD certificate for PWD.

Ph.D Admission Process

 Candidate can visit institute website to APPLY ONLINE

Candidates must complete the application process in online mode. The online application can be saved at any stage.

The candidate can then return to the application by logging in with the respective user name and password at any time before the submission deadline. Once the application has been submitted online, candidates can choose the mode of payment of the application fees (Credit card, Debit card or net banking).
Candidates facing genuine technical issues/having difficulty in accessing the online application, may write to dso@tiss.edu  mentioning their name, contact details and a clear description of the problem being faced or may call 022-25525252.

The application fees is Rs. 1535/-  for General (if being payed by Credit card/ Debit card/ Net Banking) or Rs. 1500/- + bank charges (if being payed through bank by cash).

 Rs. 410/- for ST/SC/OBC (if being payed by Credit card/ Debit card/ Net Banking) or Rs. 375/- + bank charges (if being payed through bank by cash).

A candidate can apply for multiple programs and pay for those programmes in one online form and should not fill more than one form.

If a candidate is found to have filled more than one online form, all his applications will be cancelled.
