Eligibility and Selection Procedure for MSW in Tata Institute of Social Sciences Candidates should hold a Bachelor's Degree of minimum of 3 years duration or its equivalent under the regular study pattern or any other pattern fulfilling the mandatory requirements of 15 years formal education from a recognised university in relevant discipline. Candidate should be good in English language. Selection Process: Valid Score in TISSNET, GD and Personal Interview. Reservations for Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Backward Classes (OBC) andEconomically Weaker Sections (EWS) is as belowe mentioned. Selection Process
Admission to PG program is based on score obtained in TISSNET/GD, Personal Interview.
Candidates applying for MA (HRM&LR) and / or MA (ODCL) programmes, are required to appearfor the TISS Management Aptitude Test (TISS-MAT).The TISS-MAT will be conducted only for those candidates who are short-listed for stage 2 on the basis of TISS-NET results.
Admission in Ph.D program, candidate should pass Research Aptitude Test.
PG Programs Admission Process
Candidates shortlisted for personal interview are required to produce original certificate and mark sheet on the date of personal interview, for verifying. Those who are in the final year but are eligible to apply are required to produce the mark sheets of all previous semesters on the date of personal interview.
Those candidates who are eligible to apply, but cannot submit the Degree certificate and grade/ mark sheet at the time of admission are required to submit these before last date.

The application fees is Rs. 1000/- + bank charges.
Rs. 250/- for ST/SC/OBC .
For SC/ST candidates, the application fee is Rs. 500/- per program + bank charges.
Candidate cand pay application fee by Credit card/ Debit card/ Net Banking.
Note: Candidates can apply for a maximum of three programmes across any two of the TISS Campuses.
If a candidate is found to have filled more than one online form, all his applications will be cancelled.

The application fees is Rs. 530/- (if being paid by Credit card/ Debit card/ Net Banking) or Rs. 500/- + bank charges (if being payed through bank by cash). The Candidate has to pay this amount, he applies for. For more details refer to the section 'Application fee payment' below.
A candidate can apply for single program and pay for that program. Should not fill more than one form.

Ph.D Programs Admission Process
Candidate can visit institute website to APPLY ONLINE
Candidates must complete the application process in online mode. The online application can be saved at any stage.
The candidate can then return to the application by logging in with the respective user name and password at any time before the submission deadline. Once the application has been submitted online, candidates can choose the mode of payment of the application fees (Credit card, Debit card or net banking).
Candidates facing genuine technical issues/having difficulty in accessing the online application, may write to dso@tiss.edu mentioning their name, contact details and a clear description of the problem being faced or may call 022-25525252.
The application fees is Rs. 1535/- for General (if being payed by Credit card/ Debit card/ Net Banking) or Rs. 1500/- + bank charges (if being payed through bank by cash).
Rs. 410/- for ST/SC/OBC (if being payed by Credit card/ Debit card/ Net Banking) or Rs. 375/- + bank charges (if being payed through bank by cash).
A candidate can apply for multiple programs and pay for those programmes in one online form and should not fill more than one form.
