Tamil Nadu Government Dental College & Hospital (TGDCH), Chennai, also known as Government Dental Hospital and College, is the dental wing of the Madras Medical College. Although the college is a separate entity administratively, it is functionally integrated with the Madras Medical College and Government General Hospital.

The college was established in 1992 with the prime objective of providing effective & efficient education in dental sciences. The college is affiliated to The Tamilnadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, Chennai and is recognized by Dental council of India (DCI). Tamil Nadu Government Dental College aims to train aspirants as well-qualified and skilled dentists by providing quality education to them.

In order to fulfill their aim, the dental institution has equipped itself with modern facilities.  The institute provides practical exposure to their students, which helps them in acquiring in depth knowledge in study. The institute aimed at creating well qualified and competent students to cater to the rising demand of such personnel across the globe.
