Tamil Nadu National Law University (TNNLU) was established by the Government of Tamil Nadu by an Act of State Legislature (Act No. 9 of 2012) to provide quality legal education at the global level. The University was established in 2012.
TNNLU is the brainchild of the former Honble Chief Minister Dr. J Jayalalithaa who laid its foundation stone on 13th February 2012.
Location: University is located in 25 acre campus in the Tiruchirappalli-Dindigul NH 45, at Navalurkuttappattu Village. It is situated about 10 km away from the District andSessions Court and other Sub-ordinate Courts of Tiruchirappalli and the location facilitates easy and effective interaction between the students of TNNLU and thejudicial institutions.
