Eligibility and Selection Procedure for Diploma Program (DP) in Swami Devi Dyal College of Nursing

Minimum and maximum age for admission is 17 and 35 years respectively as on 31st Dec, 2019.

There is no age bar for ANM/LHV qualified candidates.

  • 10+2 with 40% marks from any recognized Board. However Science is preferable.
  • Candidates are also eligible from State Open School Recognized by State Government and National Institute of Open School (NIOS) recognized by Central Government.
  • Registered as ANM with State Nursing Council.
  • 10+2 vocational ANM course from the school recognized by Indian Nursing Council.
  •  10+2 Health Care Science- Vocational stream from recognized CBSE Board/State/Centre.
  • 5% relaxation in total marks for SC/ST candidates.
  • Any other quota as per the State Govt. under the reservation policy.
  • Student shall be medically fit.

Selection Process: The admission to GNM courses will be made on the basis of merit list prepared on marks obtained in the qualifying examination.
