Sri Siddhartha Institute of Technology (SSIT) is started in the year 1979 with Civil & Mechanical Engineering by Sri Siddhartha Education Society (SSES), Tumkur. Since then, it has grown with time. At present, the institution runs 9 under graduate courses in Bachelor of Engineering (BE), in addition it also offers post graduation programs in Master of Computer Application (MCA) and Master of Technology (M.Tech)  with an annual intake of about 650 students.
