Eligibility and Selection Procedure for MSc (Nursing) in Saveetha College of Nursing - Saveetha University The candidate should be a Registered Nurse and Registered midwife of equivalent with any State Nursing Registration Council. Education: B.Sc. Nursing/B.Sc. Hons. Nursing/Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing with minimum of 55% aggregate marks. The candidate should have undergone in B.Sc. Nursing / B.Sc. Hons. Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing in an institution which is recognized by Indian Nursing Council. Minimum one year of work experience after Basic B.Sc. Nursing. Minimum one year of work experience prior or after Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing. Candidates shall be medically fit. In case of Male Candidates, they should have passed any other course recommended by the Indian Nursing Council in place of Midwifery. These male candidates are not eligible for admission to Branch III and Branch IV irrespective of their experience in these areas. Male candidates who have passed and registered in Midwifery is eligible for admission to branch V irrespective of their experience in these area. Selection Process: Entrance Test. |

Nursing will be issued from the University office from feb 2019 onwards. Applications can be obtained on payment of Rs.1,000/- D.D. taken in favour of “Saveetha College of Nursing”, payable at Chennai in person (or) DD for Rs.1,050/- by post.
