Candidate pass in 12th standard of Tamil Nadu H.S.C. (Academic) or an equivalent examination recognized by Anna University, Chennai with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as given below:

H.S.C (Academic) or Equivalent a. Mathematics b. Physics c. Chemistry, H.S.C (Vocational) or Equivalent a. Related Subjects (Maths/Physics/Chemistry) b. Vocational Subjects: OC 50%, BC 45%, MBC/DNC 40%, SC/ST Passing Minimum.

Lateral Entry: The candidates who possess Diploma in Engineering / Technology awarded by the State Board of Technical Education, Tamil Nadu or its equivalent are eligible to apply for admission to the third semester of B.E. in the branch corresponding to their branch of study.

BSc candidates who studied Mathematics at +2 Level (10+2+3 stream) or studied Mathematics as core or ancillary subjects at the BSc level are eligible to apply for admission to the third Semester of B.E.

Diploma in Engineering / Technology awarded by the State Board of Technical Education, Tamil Nadu or its equivalent: OC 55%, BC  50%, MBC/DNC 45%, SC/ST Pass in the Qualifying Exam.
