Eligibility and Selection Procedure for DE in SCM Air Technical Training Institute

a) Citizenship: Must be an Indian Citizen.

b) Qualification: Must have passed the Secondary (Madhyamik) Examination of the West Bengal Board of Secondary

Education or its equivalent examination with English, Physical Science/Science and Mathematics among others as subjects securing at least 35% marks (no rounding up) in aggregate as per AICTE norms excluding the marks of the subject taken as additional. Candidates appearing in the Secondary (Madhyamik) Examination of the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with English, Physical Science/Science and Mathematics among others as subjects may also apply. However, conforming to the benchmark of 35% marks (no rounding up as per AICTE norms) in aggregate excluding the marks of the subject taken as additional, is a must, failing which candidature is liable to be cancelled even after selection in JEXPO-2019.

c) Age: Should not be born after 01.07.2004 and there is no upper age limit.

Admission Policy: 75% of the approved intake shall be filled up from JEXPO rank holders on the basis of centralised counselling and remaining 25 % seats shall be filled up through Direct Admission against Management Quota.

Selection for admission to second year classes of full time courses under Lateral entry scheme will be made through an Entrance examination (VOCLET).
