A pass in 10+2 scheme of MP Board of Secondary Education or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Math's and English securing 55% marks in aggregate. Compartmental candidates are not considered. Candidates who have appeared in the final year exam are also eligible. Age limit must be not more than 21 years on October 1 of the year of admission.

Admission Procedure
Application form and prospectus can be obtained from the Office of Professional Examination Board or any of the State Engineering College. Last date of submission of completed forms is in the month of January/February.

Selection Process
Selection is done on the basis of merit in the PET. The test is conducted usually in the month April/ May at 23 cities in Madhya Pradesh and Delhi, Jaipur, Lucknow and Nagpur. Merit list is prepare by the Board course wise, which is then notifies in the leading newspapers/ colleges. Successful candidates are also informed individually
