Eligibility |
Eligibility and Selection Procedure for BCom in RIMT University (a) 40% marks in the aggregate in case of students who have passed 10+2 Commerce group. OR (b) 45% marks in the aggregate in case of student who have passed 10+2 in Humanities group with at least two out of Commerce/ Accounts/Math/ Economics/Management papers. OR (c) 50% marks in the aggregate in case of students who have passed 10+2 but not covered under (a) and (b) above; OR (d) Students who opt for any one of the following Vocational subjects, in B.Com. Professional Part I should have passed with at least 50% marks, 10+2 examination from Punjab School Education Board or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto: - Office Management and Secretarial Practice - Principle and Practice of Insurance - Tax Procedure and Practice |

Admission Process
Step 1. Interested candidate may visit official website of the university to apply
a. Online
b. Offline at RIMT University Campus
c. Students can send completed application form available on the website along with the application fee.
Step 2. Appear for Scholarship Test
The students can appear in the test to avail various scholarship benefits announced by RIMT University from time to time.
Step 3. The students need to appear in a personal interview conducted by a panel. The interview panel will ask questions related to his/her interest and the field of study selected by the student. Students can also showcase their achievements and projects during the interaction.
Step 4. Successful candidates will be made an offer of admission to join RIMT University.
The offer will be sent via an email. Details regarding payment of fees at the time of admission, allotment of Hostel and date, time and venue for commencement of the academic session will be included in the admission letter.
Offer of admission will be valid only for the particular program opted for by the candidate in the given academic session. However, request for change of program may be considered subject to availability of seats. In acceptance of the offer of admission, the candidates will have to appear in person at the campus along with original documents for verification and pay the required fees.
