Under Graduate Selection Process

Selection for B.Tech., B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture, Horticulture, B.V.Sc. & A.H  and BFSc is based on EAMCET conducted by the Telangana State Council for Higher Education. 

Selection for B.Sc. in Community Science is based on merit  in optional subject of 10+2.

Reservation of seats:  

40% of in seats in the PJTSAU & SKLTSHU and

25% in PVNRTVU are reserved for candidates coming from families of Agriculturists (Farmers) owning not less than ONE acre of land either in the name of the parents or in the name of the candidates and who have studied for a minimum of 4 years in schools located in Non-Municipal areas.

If the land is owned by grandfather, grandmother or guardian or any other relations reservation is not acceptable under farmer quota.

B.Tech. : 15% of seats in B.Tech.(Agricultural Engineering) under ICAR Quota will be filled up by ICAR. 

Under Graduate Programs Admission Process

Online Application Registration Fee: Rs. 1800/- for General, Rs. 900/- For SC/ST/PH Category

Candidate can apply online for admission in Under Graduate programs

At the time of admission B.Sc. Hons in Community Science  original certificates to be produced at the time of Counselling/Admission

a. 10th class marks as evidence of the Date of Birth.

b. 10th and 12 class pass certificate cum marksheet or any Diploma  certificate.

c. Bonafide / Study Certificate from 6th to 12th Class.

d. Transfer Certificate.

e. Non-Municipal Area Study Certificate (Form-I).

f. Certificate issued by the competent authority in case of applicants belonging to Backward Classes, Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes.

g. Physically Challenged Certificate.

h. Children of Armed Personnel Certificate / Defence Personnel Certificate.

i. National Cadet Corps (NCC) certificate.

j. Sports and Games Certificates.

At the time of admission B.Tech. B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture, Horticulture, B.V.Sc. & A.H  and BFSc  original certificates to be produced at the time of Counselling/Admission

M.Sc./M.Tech/MBA and Ph.D Selection Process

Candidates who have passed ICAR entrance examination  are eligible for admission to PJTSAU.

The upper age limit to apply for the course is 40 years as on July 1 of the year of admission.

Selection in  M.Sc./ M.Tech. courses  shall be done on the basis of their previous academic record at Under Graduate level (30% weightage) and performance in the entrance test (70% weightage) conducted by ICAR through AIEEA PG.

In case of MBA Agri-Business Management, the selection shall be based on the performance in entrance test, conducted by ICAR through AIEEA PG.

For MBA Course 10% seats are reserved for NRIs / Industry Sponsored Candidates.

Selection for Ph.D. shall be based on the previous academic record at under graduate/ post graduate level andperformance test conducted by ICAR through AICE-JRF/SRF(PGS). The weightage would bein the ratio of 10:30:60 (10% B.Sc. Marks, 30% M.Sc Marks and 60% Entrance Marks). 

M.Sc./M.Tech./MBA and Ph.D. Admission Process

1. Interested candidate can register by visiting official website of the college

2. Complete the online registration by filling the online registration form and making online payment of registration charges.

3. Registration charges are Rs. 1600/- and for SC/ST candidates, the fee is Rs.850/-. Fee cand be paid through

• Credit Card
• NET banking

4. Upload all required documents as per instruction given.

After successful submission, an application number will be generated which can also be used for future correspondence.

A computer generated hard copy of the online application filled and complete in all respects including payment of fee a should be downloaded and sent through by Speed Post only to

Photocopies of the Documents  required along with application form

a)  Score card of AIEEA(PG), ICAR-AICE-JRF/SRF(PGS) for Ph.D. course

b) Marksheet of 10^th, 12^th, Graduation  and Master for Ph.D. course of all years

c) Provisional/degree certificate of the qualifying examination.

d ) Study certificates from Heads of recognised educational institutions from VI class onwards.

 (Thosho appeared for any examination by private study should enclose residence certificate.)

e) Cast certificate issued by the competent authority, in case of candidates belonging to reserved category and claim the same.

f) Certificate regarding Sport,  any Cultural,  Literary if  if applicable.

g) Date of birth certificate for age proof.

h) Certificate towards physically disabled, if any

i) Residential (Latest certificate issued by the Telangana Government), Certificate.

j) Any Govt ID (Aadhaar Card /Passport/ Ration card / Bank  Passbook).

 k) Conduct certificate for the Head of the institute from the last attended.

Originals of the above certificates should be submitted at the time of admission. 

Candidates who are selected for admission should submit the following certificates/documents in

original at the time of admission in addition to the originals of the certificates listed above.

i) Migration certificate if the candidate passed from a University other than PJTSAU.

ii) Transfer Certificate from the College/Institution where the candidate last studied;

iii)Students selected for admission into PG courses shall pay the entire fee at the time of counselling itself.
