Admission of eligible candidates to the B.Arch. program at Nitte Institute of Architecture is based on qualify an Aptitude Test in Architecture(NATA) conducted by the Council of Architecture or the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) with Paper 2 for Architectureconducted by the competent authority of the Central Government or any other test made equivalent to these by theCouncil of Architecture or competent authority.
A personal interview will be part of the final assessment for admission.
Admission procedure will commence from the month of January.

Steps to apply for admission
There is no charges for an application fee.
Interested candidate should visit institute website to apply online or download an application form and submit offline.

Hardcopies of application forms are also available at the Admissions Office of Nitte (Deemed to be University) and NIA Admin Office.
Once completed, the form can be submitted to the NIA Admin Office along with the following documents:
A copy of your Creative Portfolio and attested photocopies of the following documents mail to- admissions.nia@nitte.edu.in
- 10th Standard Pass Certificate for proof of date of birth
- 12th Standard Marks Sheet and Pass Certificate
- NATA Scorecard OR JEE Main Paper II Scorecard and Rank Card (if available)
Pre-Admission: Candidates who are selected for admission can opt for pre-admission to the course on payment of Rs. 1,50,50/- by cheque. Final admission to institute is subject to the candidate meeting the minimum Eligibility Criteria specified above.
The pre-admission fee will be counted towards the final admission fee for the candidate.
Final Admission: Selected candidates should submit the following documents along with the prescribed fee.
Candidate can pay fee by DD favouring Nitte Deemed to be University payable at Mangaluru by the mentioned date to complete the admission process.
List of Documents to be submitted at the Nitte (Deemed to be University) Admissions office if not submitted previously.
Original plus 3 attested copies of:
- NATA Score Card/ JEE Main Paper II Score Card and Rank Card
- 12th Standard Mark Sheet and Pass Certificate OR Diploma Marks Sheet and Diploma Certificate
- 10th Standard Pass Certificate for proof of date of birth
- Transfer Certificate from the institution last attended
- Conduct Certificate from the Institution last attended
- Migration Certificate from the Board of the institution last attended
- Aadhar Card or Passport
- Physical fitness certificate from a registered medical practitioner
- Blood group certificate
- Recent colour passport photographs with white background
