National Power Training Institute (NPTI) Admission Procedure

For admission into PG courses, eligible candidates common merit list will be prepared on the basis of the % marks obtained by the candidates in the qualifying degree and interview conducted by NPTI. 90% and 10% weightage will be given to marks obtained in degree and interview, respectively while preparing the merit list.

COUNSELING

The physical presence of the candidates may be relaxed for attending the counselling. Centralized Counselling may be conducted by NPTI Faridabad by connecting the candidates through video calling/conferencing. Candidates may deposit the admission fee/ counselling fee which is a part of their course fee at NPTI CO Faridabad for confirmation of their admission. After the counselling, candidates may submit the hard copies of the necessary documents/ certificates for verification and undertakings at the respective institutes while joining/reporting for the course. In case of candidates of OBC category for Sponsored/ Non-Sponsored, Non-Creamy Layer Valid Certificate must have been issued by the concerned authority.

ALLOCATION OF COURSE & INSTITUTE

Allocation of course in desired Institute will be done on the basis of Merit List subject to availability of seats at institutes at the time of respective Counseling. Allotment of all seats will be done only by Counseling.

Counseling schedule and details will be displayed on our website. All candidates are advised to check the website frequently for any updates. No individual communication shall be entertained.

The registration fee is Rs.1000/- (including GST) to be paid online through SB Collect by clicking here or through IMPS/ NEFT/ UPI. Candidates are required to pay before applying as they need to fill the payment details in online application form.
