Eligibility and Selection Procedure for MTech in National Institute of Technology - Rourkela Candidate should have passed B.E./B.Tech with minimum 60% (55% for SC/ST/PWD category). Selection Process: Must have a valid GATE Score.
M.Tech (Research) Engineering, Humanities, Management, Science, Social Sciences: Candidate must possess B.E/ B.Tech/ B.Pharm/ MCA/ MBBS / BVSc/ M.Sc./ M.A / MBA / M.Com with minimum of 60% marks in aggregate. Selection Process: Selection will be based on the written test and/ or Interview conducted by the Institute.

Application Procedure for MTech in National Institute of Technology - Rourkela CCMT: Candidates are strongly advised to read the instructions available on CCMT website for registration process and choice filling/locking process before proceeding with the actual registration process. The registration fee is Rs.2,200/- for OC/OB and Rs.1,700/- for SC/ST/PwD, payable only through SBI MOPS (i.e., Net banking/Credit Card / Debit Card or e-Challan at any branch of SBI). The registration fee is non-refundable and would not be adjusted towards any other fee. Candidates are advised to check their eligibility for various programmes very carefully. All eligible candidates will have to register and fill their choices ONLINE during the specified period given in the schedule (Annexure I) as well as notified on CCMT website (http://ccmt.nic.in) to be considered for seat allotment |
