Eligibility and Selection Procedure for MBA in National Institute of Technology - Rourkela The minimum eligibility criterion is B.Tech degree in any branch of engineering with 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA. Applicants who have qualified in reputed national or international tests for admission to Business Schools and secured high scores will get preference. If sufficient applicants are not available, seats under OBC and PH categories may be filled up by general category applicants. The candidates appearing B.Tech (final semester) examination may also apply for the above course. However, they have to produce their mark/grade sheet showing 60% marks or CGPA 6.5 in aggregate Selection Process: Admission to MBA program is made on the basis of scores of National level entrance test such as CAT, MAT, XAT or GMAT followed by GD and PI |

Application Procedure for MBA in National Institute of Technology - Rourkela Interested candidates satisfying the eligibility criteria may submit online application at http://application.nitrkl.ac.in following the instructions. Applicants are advised to (a) use only Internet Explorer browser version 6.0 or above, (b) read the advertisement carefully, (c) read the instructions to fill up the online application form (d) pay application fee of Rs.500/- online from online application portal and (e) fill up and submit the online application form accordingly. Applicants are not required to send hard copy of the application form or any other document to NIT Rourkela. However, candidates who will be called for interview will be required to submit signed copy of the application form and a set of Xerox copies of all certificates to the HOD on reporting on the day of interview. They also need to produce original certificates from HSC onwards for verification. The same will be forwarded to the Academic Office by the department for record.
