Eligibility and Selection Procedure for Diploma Program (DP) in Lokopriya Gopinath Bordoloi Regional Institute of Mental Health Candidate should have a certificate in GeneralNursing and Midwifery (GNM) or B.Sc./ Post-basic B.Sc Nursing degree fromany Institute/ University recognized bythe Indian Nursing Council. The applicant should be registered with the State Nursing Council, with minimum 01(one) year of working experience after obtaining qualifying degree as on the closing date for submission of online application form. There will be relaxation of 5% on the aggregate marks obtained in the qualifyingexamination for SC/ST candidates. Final year students can apply. |

Seat Reservation
15%, 7 ½%, 27% and 10 % seats are reserved for Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes (Non-creamy layer) and Economically Weaker Section (EWS), respectively, subject to availability of such candidates, and with evidence of the claim.
There shall also be 5% horizontal reservation for persons with locomotor disability [only for locomotor disabilities of lower limbs between 50% to 70% or as per the Govt. of India Rules in this regard] subject to availability of such candidates.
Applicants appearing in the final examination are also eligible to apply. However, such Applicants must furnish their mark sheet/grade card, on or before the counseling date (or as per instruction from GU) failing which their candidature shall be rejected.
