Eligibility and Selection Procedure for BEd in Kurukshetra University Directorate of Distance Education The eligibility conditions for admission to B.Ed. (2-year) Course through Distance Mode will be as under :- (i) Bachelor/ Master’s degree from a recognized University with at least 50% marks in aggregate (47.5% in case of SC/ ST/ Blind/ Physically Handicapped candidates) OR 55% in case of BE/ B.Tech (52.25% in case of SC/ ST/ Blind/ Physically Handicapped candidates) as per directions of Hon’ble Supreme Court of India. (ii) Trained in-service teachers in elementary education. (iii) Candidates who have completed a NCTE recognized teacher education programme through face-to-face mode. (iv) The reservation for SC/ ST/ OBC/ PWD and other categories shall be as per the rules of Haryana Govt. (v) Only in service teachers working in any Recognized Government/ Aided/ Private School/ Educational Institution are eligible. |

Kurukshetra University Directorate of Distance Education (KUDDE) Admission Process
For online admission: The Directorate of Distance Education offers online admission facility through university website (www.ddekuk.ac.in). Online submission of application form can be done on the DDE website and online fee can be deposited on the DDE Website as well as Online Portal. It is mandatory for the students to deposit hard copy of the form along with documents within 15 days of their online admission.
For this purpose the date of deposit of fee will be counted as day one. In case of delay, late fee as applicable at the time of submission of form/documents will be charged.
For offline admission: Prospectus can be downloaded from DDE website and all attached forms; Admission Form, Examination form and Computer forms shall be filled and sent to the Director, Directorate of Distance Education, Kurukshetra University,Kurukshetra-136119 (Haryana) alongwith all required documents and fee through Bank Draft drawn in favour of Registrar, Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra).
