The Karnataka State Law University (KSLU) is a State university situated at Navanagar, Hubli, Karnataka, India. It was set up in January, 2009 by the government of Karnataka with a campus spread over 55 acres of land. The university offers various graduate and post graduate law courses which include 5 years B.A., LL.B., B.B.A., LL.B. and B.B.A., LL.B., (Hon’s) Double Degree integrated courses and LL.M. in Constitutional Law, Intellectual Property Rights, Business and Trade Law Criminal Law and International Law. Nearly 87 law colleges of Karnataka are affiliated to it. Its motto is "Indian Roots and Global Heights".
The KSLU campus is coming up on a sprawling 55 acres of beautiful landscape at Navanagar in Hubli. The Master plan has been drawn up and the architectural design for the buildings is in progress. The University is functioning from the only building belonging to PWD known as PWD Circuit House, Navanagar, Hubli on lease basis for a period of 30 years acquired at the commencement of the University in the year 2009. A new Examination Section is constructed on the First Floor of the building as an extension. A small annex of four small rooms is also built in the vicinity of the building housing small offices such as NSS, CDC, Sports, etc. A new road is also laid around the Main Building.
