J. B. Institute of Technology, Dehradun (JBIT) was established in 2009.  The Institute is one of the top private engineering colleges in Dehradun, Uttarakhand. It is one of the ranked engineering college in Dehra dun.

Location: The Campus is spread around 25-acre. it is located in Dehradun, Chandigarh – Paonta Highway. 

By Road: JBIT is linked via well maintained roads, located 20 kilometers from Dehradun city, on the National Highway 72 going to Himachal Pradesh. 

By Rail: Dehradun has a Dehradun railway station with services to major cities including Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Lucknow, Trivandrum and Varanasi. Some fast trains running to and from Dehradun include the Shatabdi Express, Jan Shatabdi Express and New Delhi—Dehradun AC Express etc. 

By Air: The Jolly Grant Airport, 25 kilometers from Dehradun, is well connected with the Delhi airport.
