10+2 From any  recognized board without any grace with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory  subject  and anyone of Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational as optional subject.

Lateral Entry - Duration 3 year-Candidates must have passed three-yearEngineering Diploma in any branch ofengineering (except Agriculture Engg.,Pharmacyand Architecture) or three year B.Sc. degree andpassed 10+2 exam with mathematics as onesubject. 

Direct admission
15% seats of the total sanctioned intake comes under this category. The admissions under the above quota will be made as per the directions of U.P. State Govt. and Uttar Pradesh Technical University, Lucknow.
