Selection Process
For B.Tech admission, candidate has to pass JELET conducted by WBJEE Board.
For MCA admission to the first semester course are required to qualify in the Joint Entrance Examination (JECA) for admission to Master of Computer Application conducted by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board.
For M.Tech. program including those having valid GATE score should sit for a written test for which they have to fill in the application form and submit the same to MAKAUT along with prescribed fee.
Admission Process
Registration fee Rs. 400/-
Payment has to be made by Demand Draft/ Banker’s Cheque (no personal cheque) / PayOrder, drawn in favour of “Heritage Institute of Technology”, payable at Kolkata .
Documents Required at the time of admission:
- Self attested copy of allotment paper clearly showing allotted stream as well as the Institute name along with the money receipt issued by WBJEE Board against token money for spot admission (2 copies)
- Self-attested copy of Income Certificate from the appropriate authority (for students admitted under Tuition Fee Waiver category)
- Self-attested copy of Caste Certificate (Compulsory for SC / ST / OBC candidates)
- Photocopy of WBJEE/JEE(Main) Admit Card & along with the Rank Card
- Self-attested copy of Age Proof Certificate
- Self-attested copy of 10th or equivalent mark sheet
- Self-attested copy of 12th or equivalent mark sheet
- Original Medical fitness certificate from a registered medical practitioner
- Original Eye certificate regarding “No Colour Blindness” from a registered eye specialist
- Photocopy of Blood Group Certificate
- 4 (Four) passport size colour photographs
- Character Certificate from School/College last attended
- Affidavits in the prescribed format (available in the Institute website: www.heritageit.edu Admissions B.Tech Affidavit) to be executed in Non-Judicial Stamp Paper(s) of Rs. 10/- by the candidate and his / her guardian individually.
