Eligibility and Selection Procedure for LLM in Gauhati University Applicants seeking admission into the Semester I of the Master of Laws (LLM) course at Central Food Technological Research Institute (CFTRI) are required to possess a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from Gauhati University or any other university or institution recognized by Gauhati University, with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks. Eligibility criteria mandates that candidates fulfill this academic requirement to be considered for admission. Moreover, candidates belonging to the categories of Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Other Backward Classes (OBC), and More Other Backward Classes (MOBC), who are permanent residents of Assam, are eligible for a relaxation of 5% marks in the aggregate. This provision aims to ensure equitable opportunities for candidates from marginalized communities. Selection process: The selection process for admission involves the evaluation of candidates based on their performance in the Entrance Test and Interview. The candidate's valid score in the Entrance Test, as well as their performance in the subsequent interview, play significant roles in determining their suitability for admission to the LLM program at CFTRI. • Scheduled Caste: 7%

Register yourself and enter your Name, mobile no., email id, father’s name, and select domicile Click on “Submit”.
On completing the form an OTP will be sent to your registered mobile no.
Click on “Verify OTP” link.
Now fill your personal details in the registration form and submit it.
Log in to your account and click on “Online Admissions” link.
Fill in the application form.
Upload all the documents in .jpg format.
Submit the application form.
Pay fee online.
Filled registration form should be reached to the university admission office before due date.
Mode of Paymen: There is the option of making the payment of fees bank charges through the Online mode as no other mode of payments will be entertained.
Following documents should be provided at the time of admission:
1. Degree Marksheets, Certificates from the Head of the Institution last attended
2. 10th Certificate or Admit Card for verification of age
3. Registration Certificate of the last course attended.
4. Relevant certificate(s) from concerned authority in case of those applying for admission under any category of reservation.
