GMR Institute of Technology (GMRIT), hostels were built in 1998. Hostel has separate accommodation for men and women, the present strength of the residential community is 1000 +. The two hostels are headed by the Administrative Officer whose keen observation and guidance enables the staff to discharge their duties effectively, while continuously maintaining discipline among the residents.
Men's Hostel
The men's hostel has five blocks "Vindhya", "Satpura" "Aravali" "Nilgiri" "Himalaya" with a capacity to accommodate 1263 students.
Women's Hostel
The women's hostel has two blocks "Nagavali" and "Vamsadhara" with a capacity to accommodate 444 students.
