E-Max Group of Institutions (EMGI), The Foundation Stone of the University was laid on 11th January 1957 by the Late Dr. Rajendra Prasad, the first President of India. The University has 46 Post Graduate Teaching Departments and Institutes that offer 175 Courses besides offering Ph.D. programmes. Presently there are 363 colleges from 9 districts of Haryana affiliated to the University.
Location: E-max Institutions are situated at E-max Education City, Badhauli, which is about 20 km from the Railway Station and bus-stand in Ambala and is well connected by buses and auto-rickshaws from Ambala and Jagadhri. Surrounded by the greenery, far from the humdrum of the city yet housed in beautiful buildings furnished with all modern amenities, the campus is set in picturesque surroundings over 70 acres of fully developed land.
