Eligibility and Selection Procedure for PhD in Dr CV Raman University A candidate for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy must, at the time of application, hold Master's degree with at least 55% marks (50% marks in case of SC/ ST/ PH/ VH/category candidates)or an equivalent grade of Deemed University or any other University incorporated by any law for the time being in force and recognized by the University. Provided that the candidate who has at least 7 years of experience of research/teaching/industry may be permitted to get registered for Ph.D degree, even if he/she does not possess 55% marks at Master degree. However candidate possessing less than 50% marks at Post Graduate level not with standing, anything mentioned above paragraph will not be eligible for Ph.D. registration in the University. |

Admission Process
The prospectus and application form can be obtained from CVRU, Bilaspur, either in person on payment of Rs. 200/- or through post by sending a written request accompanied with a Demand Draft of Rs. 250/- drawn in favour of Dr. C.V. Raman University, Bilaspur. The applicant should write his/her name and the address on the back side of the Bank Draft.
Enclose following Certificates Along with form-
One set of Xerox copy of Mark-sheets of qualifying/ last attended (10+2), Graduation, Post-Graduation examination [Higher Secondary (10+2), Graduation, Post-Graduation].
One recent passport size photograph duly attested should be pasted on the application form.
