Candidate should have passed 10th  from recognised board with minimum 35% marks in aggregate and 30% marks in each subject at the qualifying examination with Math ,Science & English Subject. 

Lateral Entry- duration: 2 years:  Pass 10+2 Science with PCM /10+2 Vocational (2 years course)pass out student in any Engg.Trades /10th Pass with 2 Year ITI Pass Certificate

Minimum age should not less than 14 years.

Reserved Seats Under STATE Domicile:

For SC (scheduled caste): 15%

For ST (Scheduled Tribe): 23%

For children /Wards of Ex-Serviceman: 2%

For Children Of Green Card Holder: 5%

For Woman students in all co-ed polytechnics Engineering School in each category: 15%

The Sports Candidates representing the state during last two years: 0.5%

Candidate Passing NCC(A or B or C): 1%.
