Admissions to UG programmes (B.Tech, B.Plan Degrees)

Admissions to the first year of all the UG programmes shall be made before the start of each Academic Year, through the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHCET) conducted by the Government, or on the basis of any other relevant Entrance Examination or eligibility criteria as decided and published by the Government for that year.

The Institute shall also admit a limited number of students of Children of Indian Workers in Gulf Countries (CIWGC), Non-Resident Indian (NRI), Persons of Indian Origin (PIO), Foreign National (FN) categories, J&K Prime Minister’s Special Scholarship Scheme and State and Central schemes on children from North East states/ NT, as per Government and AICTE rules in the first year of the respective UG programmes.

There shall also be a merit-based, lateral admission of students having Diploma or equivalent qualification to the second year of all the UG programmes (except B. Planning) at the Institute in accordance with the Government rules from time to time as applicable for such admissions.

Admission in B.Tech. is done through the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT CET) conducted by Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell or Joint Entrance Exam Main (JEE Main).

Admissions to PG programmes (M.Tech, M.Plan and MBA Degrees)

Admissions to the first year of all the PG programmes shall be made before the start of each Academic Year, following the norms prescribed by the Government of Maharashtra from time to time through a Centralized Admission Process conducted by the Government of Maharashtra or based on any other relevant Entrance Examination or eligibility criteria as decided and published by the Government for that year.

Admission in M.Tech and M.Plan id done through GATE and CEED respectively.

• XII-mark sheet (original + attested photo copy)
• School leaving certificate (XII Leaving certificate/ Transfer certificate) (original + attested photo copy)
• Valid NRI certificate (original + attested photo copy)
• PIO/OCI card for PIO/OCI candidates with valid passport of the candidate (original + attested photo copy)
