Eligibility and Selection Procedure for BTech in Coimbatore Marine CollegePassed+2 with an average mark of 60% in PCM and 50% marks in English either in class 10th or +2.
The Candidate should appear for IMU Common Entrance Test.
The application form for IMU CET is available on www.imu.edu.in. For admission, the student must pass the IMU-CET test.
Note : Pass in IMU CET exam is mandatory for admission.
Age limit: 25 years at the time of entry
Medical standard:Candidate should be physically fit for sea service under standard norms, with eyesight distance
vision up to (+ or -) 2.5 with no colour blindness. Minimum height should be 157 centimetres.
Lateral Entry- Duration 3 year: Diploma in Mechanical / Marine Engineering from any institute approved by AICTE with atleast 60% marks overall and should have completed the Diploma within stipulated period of 3 years. The candidate should have secured 50% marks in English subject in class 10th / 12th.
