The Coimbatore Institute of Management and Technology (CIMAT) an Autonomous Institution was established in 1996, by Kovai Kalaimagal Educational Trust. Our institute is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) & Ministry of Human Resource Development (HRD) and is recognized by UGC under Section 2f & 12b of UGC Act.
It is an ISO 9001:2008 certified institution. The institute exclusively offers post-graduate programmes in Business Administration (MBA) and in Computer Applications (MCA).The Institution has a state of the art library with ample reference material covering wide topics. A separate communication cell is established to improve the communication skill of students.

Location: The institute is located at the foothills of Vellimalaipattinam near Narasipuram,Thondamuthur (Via), Coimbatore sprawling over a land area of about 10 acres, surrounded by green hillocks. The campus has a picturesque and serene atmosphere with least disturbance and distraction; the students find the environment to be very conducive to pursue their studies.
