Candidate must have passed 10+2 exam from any recognized Board/University and securing not less than 50% marks (45% marks for SC/ST category candidates) without grace is required in each compulsory subject (physics, chemistry and Math).

Lateral Entry- Duration 3 year:  Diploma or B.Sc. graduates with mathematics as one of the subject at XII standard with minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST candidates) 

Candidates who have passed 3 year B.Sc. degree and passed 10+2 standard with Mathematics as one of the subject from any recognized University; securing not less than 50% marks (45% for SC/ ST candidates) in aggregate, are also eligible for admission to second year in any branch of engineering and technology.
