Eligibility and Selection Procedure for PhD in Atal Bihari Vajpayee Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management Ph.D. in Engineering and Technology: Candidates must be holders of M.Tech/ M. S./ M.E. or equivalent Degree in CSE (Computer Science and Engineering)/ IT (Information Technology)/ E & C (Electronics and Communication). They must also be holders of B. Tech/ B.E./ M.Sc/ MCA also in CSE/ IT/ E&C or equivalent. Minimum marks shall be obtained 50%. Ph.D. in Management: Candidates must hold Masters Degree or its equivalent in any branch of Engineering/ Technology or Management. Or its equivalent in Science, Computer Science, Operations Research, Commerce or Economics with Statistics or Mathematics in undergraduate level. Minimum marks shall be obtained 50%. Ph.D. in Applied Sciences: Candidates must hold Master's Degree in Science in Physics/ Mathematics/ Electronics/ Nano Technology; Or M. Tech in Computational Physics/ Computational Mathematics/ Nanotechnology/ Material Science. Minimum marks shall be obtained 50%. Selection Process for all above stream: Valid Score in Entrance Test. Preference shall be given to candidates with CAT/JMET qualification. NET/SLET/GATE scoreis mandatory for candidate with MSc/ MCom/ MAqualifications.

Selection Process
Admission to the BTech + MTech (Integrated) program is based on score secured in JEE MAIN.
Admission to the MBA program is based on score secured in CAT.
Admission to the M.Tech program is based on score secured in GATE exam.

NET/SLET/GATE scoreis mandatory for candidate with MSc/ MCom/ MAqualifications.
