Eligibility and Selection Procedure for MCA in Amritsar Group of Colleges Candidate should hold Bachelor's Degree. Selection Process: Based on AGC NEST (National Entrance Scholarship Exam) score. Lateral Entry- Duration 2 year: Candidates are eligible only if they have cleared graduation with any of the following subjects: Mathematics/ Statistics /Business Mathematics / Business Statistics / Quantitative Techniques Or Should have cleared BCA from any recognized University. Or Should have cleared one of the subjects out of (Mathematics/ Statistics /Business Mathematics / Business Statistics / Quantitative Techniques) as additional or optional subject in XII Grade or at Graduation level. |

Selection Process
1. Admission to the above program is based on AGC NEST (National Entrance Scholarship Exam) score.
2. Admission to B. Voc. (Hospitality & Catering Technology/Automobile Servicing/Software Development) and D. Pharmacy course is based on the marks 10+2 standard. There will be “No Entrance Exam” for these courses but a candidate has to register online.
3. Admission to M. HMCT/M. Tech (CSE/ECE/CE/ME) course is based on the marks obtained in the graduation degree.No Entrance Exam is required but a candidate has to register online.
