Bharat Institute of Technology (BIT) was founded in 2001 and is affiliated to Mahamaya Technical University, Gautam Buddha Nagar. The college was formerly affiliated to Uttar Pradesh Technical University, Lucknow till the university was bifurcated and the college came under the jurisdiction of the current university.
Location: The college is located 8 km from Meerut on the Meerut-Delhi bypass. It is 52 km from New Delhi. The institute has fully air-conditioned labs with state-of-the-art hardware on LAN. The School of Computer Application has a collection of 135 Pentium-IV computers in three laboratories networked to one another with a large variety of software.
The institute offers undergraduate courses in 8 branches leading to a Bachelor of Technology. All the programs are approved by AICTE and 4 of the programs which were started in 2001 are NBA accredited. Know more…
