Pattern of TNTET 2019

Numb. Of Questions: 150 Multiple choice questions.

Duration: 3 Hours.

Paper-I (for classes I-V)

Candidate should have passed

Higher Secondary  with minimum  50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education /4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education/2- year Diploma in Education (Special

Education).

Or

Bachelor’s degree and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary

Or

Bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.,).

Paper-II  (for classes VI-VIII)

Candidate should have passed

Graduation or appearing in final year of 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education or 50% in B.Ed.or Higher secondary with 50% in B.El.Ed. or Higher secondary with 50% in B.A/B.Sc. Ed or B.A. Ed./B.Sc. Ed. or Graduation with minimum 50% in B.Ed. Specialia Education.
